Game Review: Heavy Rain

Let's lay off with the anime review first, because MSMM isn't actually working as an interesting thing right now.So I decided to play Heavy Rain on my PS3

Some information on this game:

Platforms: PS3 (ONLY!)
Description: Heavy Rain is an interactive drama psychological thriller video game created by Quantic Dream exclusively for the PlayStation 3. The game is written and directed by Quantic Dream's founder and CEO David Cage.Heavy Rain's story is a dramatic thriller modeled after film noir, featuring four protagonists involved with the mystery of the Origami Killer, a serial killer who uses extended periods of rainfall to drown his victims.

A Few Words:

This game is definitely the best in terms of story telling and making people to actually CRAVE for what's going to happen next.

Okay, I know this game is full of QTE's (Quick Time Events) but I can excuse that since the game actually made me listen to it's story instead of making me shut the damn PS3 down and rearrange the icons on my desktop.But that's the one problem here, it doesn't actually work as a game which gives off the actual entertainment, instead it works like a book for story telling.The QTE's and controlling the character is the only interaction you will do.

Like what the plot said above in the description, You have protagonists involved in the mystery of the Origami Killer, and you play the role of a few of the MAIN characters.Which is kind of the games way to deliver to the story, is by playing through the perspectives of other characters.Which kinda explains it all by itself not like the anime Asura Cryin.Anyway, it presents itself neatly but it wont really entertain you if you are the kind of person who wants to go into action without listening to ANY explanations, plot.

Also, the game is a mystery but the problem is that the identity of the killer is always the same even though you picked different paths for the story to progress into and the MAIN problem is that, it's not a mystery when you already know the identity of the killer.But still with that, I just love how everything flows smoothly but shit does the start of the game bore you to death and it gives off the sense that something bad will happen to the family, RIGHT AHEAD, I said that you have every right to throw something away if it doesn't entertain you in the first 5 to 10 minutes of doing shit with it.

But as you progress through this game, you will most likely get sucked in because of the mystery and the story itself.I swear to god, You can try watching the walkthrough of this game on youtube and it will give you the feeling that Heavy Rain is a movie instead of a game.

-there's a part in the game, where you have to cut one of your fingers in order to get more clue's to your sons address.Now, while mashing those buttons in that scene, it was one of the best moments because it kinda actually made me look at the side of the screen because I was expecting a gory fucking scene to happen.But it was just him screaming because his finger was cut off when I removed it, but still, Shaun should be a fucking good boy when he comes back home.

6.Madison Paige (Spoiler)
-Whatever the fuck did you do to yourself to fight off guys, IN YOUR UNDERWEAR, WHILE HAVING NO SLEEP is not fucking normal.But then, it was all a fucking dream, NO CONNECTION TO PLOT WHATSOEVER.Screw it...

1.Graphics 7/10 - It's not really the best graphics I've seen.Not like the colossal Crysis 2 wherein they have graphics that will blow your PC, Xbox 360, PS3 to shreds.Not really..

2.Plot 9/10 - Now now, the game has a well written story on it, it progresses smoothly and you don't need heavy explanations as to why, or what has happened.It's one of the reasons why the games industry today isn't really entertaining anymore, they just release another game cash-in without even caring about their games.They don't care about the name of their company, like....Activision, EA, and other stupid game creators out there.But I'm not really pointing out on all of the creations of EA and Activision.

3.Presentation 9/10 - This game is definitely one of the best in terms of "sucking me in with it's content". The natural feeling of dialogue and the natural voice acting.It fits in and it doesn't make the game look stupid like in other games where they just throw in random voice actors and random dialogue without giving a shit

4.Gameplay 7.5/10 - Now, if you're actually looking for "GAME-PLAY". Don't look here, because this game like what I said before is purely just telling a story like a book, and what you have to do is freaking press buttons and control the guy.Not really the action packed gibbering FPS game other people would hope for.But let's set that stuff aside, the gameplay of this GAME is purely just to present.So it has to work on sucking you in with the story and it did pretty well at that.Problem is the first part was surely boring, but it gets better after a while.

5.Sound 9/10 - Voice acting, effects and other crap is very good, although like IGN said about this game, some voice actors have that native tongue, but it's still very good even with that flaw in hand.

6. Lasting Appeal 6.5/10 - Definitely impossible to make me want to play this game again, like what I said.A mystery stays as a mystery if you don't know shit about it, right? Well the problem is that this game, even though you chose different paths for the game to progress into it will end up with the same origami killer.So you already fucking know what's gonna happen.But if you want to try different paths then sure you can do it.But it's not really that important, unless your hunting for trophies.

Seeing that this game is purely on presentation and not on gameplay, I also saw that the games gameplay is purely helping the presentation standpoint.It's an entertaining game but the only problem is that it doesn't work as that kind of game.A normal game standpoint is purely to entertain right? But I like this game, because it did entertain me without doing that shit we say on COD4 MW1 and every other samey shitty COD.

I would definitely recommend this to you if you have a PS3.Play this before you die, stupid.It's a great game it has the story and sometimes it's like a movie instead of a game where you can just sit there and look at the cutscenes and hold that popcorn in your hands, but I can't fucking do that, the controller will be dirty.Fuck that.Anyway, on that point too, I noticed that this game is a lot fucking better that the other story based movie's I saw.My reaction was like..."What the fuck?"...(Lol)

So the verdict is that this game is definitely this game is a PASS, It has it's flaws but it still one of the best games ever made.

Anime fans and Anime's these days (Rant #7)

Okay,let me just explain to you the difference between the "Fan" and the "Fanboy slash Fangirl" before I go on with this.

Fan = Just a simple fan of something, can accept criticism and can accept the opinion of other people and most importantly, they don't become instant assholes when you say bad things to the things they like.

Fangirl/Fanboy = The dicks/cunts of the fandom world.They wont accept criticism and cannot accept the opinion of other people and they most likely just evolved from dick to dickhead and from cunt to meta-cunt.

Now, As I see the usual forums and the usual stuff in the real world.I saw that many people won't really know a good anime if it didn't bit them in the ASS.But the only forum exempted from this is crunchyroll, because people there actually KNOW a good anime without being a fangirl/fanboy.

Let me first tell you a story and most likely some of you know this already but I hate the mainstream anime media.Not all of it but the four big names in the mainstream anime media.These four are Naruto, Fairytail, One Piece, and Bleach.Yes, I hate those and I know some of you are already saying this "aren't you also being a fangirl by hating and not accepting ANYTHING from the mainstream media?"

Actually, no I'm not being one of those and here's the story.I watched Bleach, One Piece, Naruto and Fairy Tail and I was being a blind fan of it, I didn't consider anything just all the action and the screwed up story is always sliding away because I didn't give a shit anyway about the story when I wasn't serious about it.So after days and days and countless episodes I watched.A big fat realization comes falling down from the ceiling of my house down to my head, smothering my face with it.

"I'm watching the same fight scene over and over again and I'm also watching the same motherfucking filler over and over again" Okay, not exactly over and over but you get my point when I say "Same" and I meant by same is "Usual".Yes it looks like 90% of the solution of the characters there is to FIGHT the guy, when there is a more simpler way of dealing with shit.Of course who I would not forget the screwed up story telling that the mainstream anime has and also let me tell you a story about that argument I had with a FairyTard who obliviously says that Fairy Tail actually has good story telling.

He said that Fairy Tail actually had ended, but there are many more stories to tell and many more things to see.

Do you see the problem with that plot wise??     (Seriously, I hope you do)



It doesn't need to be there.If you have to end a fucking story and so that you don't have to tell more stories make sure you cover that shit up until you reach the END.But doing that with these mainstream dipshit anime creators are just impossible.They tend to make FILLERS whenever they want, Thanks Naruto, I was about to get interested but you fucking blew it to shreds.But to the usual fangirl/fanboy they would say that this is actually a part of the fucking STORY and it should be FUCKING EXPLAINED.

Do you see the problem here fanboys and fangirls??

I don't fucking give a shit, I don't care if Lucy Heartfillia drops to a fucking coma.You don't have to center the whole fucking episode on her being cured of her coma, you can just say that "Lucy is in a coma" and continue on with the freaking show.Now I hope that you realized that, you Fanboys and Fangirls.

Anyway, let's talk about the actual ANIME's.

I don't know if the writers and animators get the concept of "Appropriate length".They just want to make episode after episode and just continue on and I freaking kick that guy who's making the episodes and when he wakes up, without me realizing.He made about 1 billion episodes in his freaking sleep.

Seriously, If you want to make shit interesting, maybe you lay off with the action for once and care to actually ELABORATE the freaking shit that needs to be ELABORATED instead of running in there guns blazing and not giving a shit if you shot an innocent civilian or not.The problem is that these people just go ahead and they just actually GO.But of course those people who didn't get bit in the ass by the "GOOD ANIME'S" don't realize this because they are impenetrable, they just want to watch the freaking action without knowing whatever it is that they are fucking fighting for.

And next one, the Bishounen anime lovers.I pointed this shit out once and I will fucking point it out again.

Okay, I know that's the artwork working, but when I say artwork.What they see actually is the fucking faces of the characters and I swear to Haruhi, Edward-Fucking-Elric looks better than these gay-ass characters.
What I learned from most of the viewers is that, they fucking squeal whenever they see a GOOD LOOKING CHARACTER and most of all, they don't give a shit about whats happening in there, they just look at the character.You can put that character in the same room with another gay-ass character and they can have gay intercourse but these people won't give a shit.They will obviously look only at the character and they will be oblivious to the freaking scene whatsoever.

"Vampire Knight is SHIT". That's what I will say when people ask me about that anime.I seriously hope that freaking fanboys and fangirls will change and may haruhi forbid that these kinds of fans won't evolve into another hideous beast of the fandom kingdom.

Skills and Talents (Rant #6)

Now, I'm guessing some of you had that moment where someone does shit better than you.But you did your shit longer than that guy.

So basically what am I saying here is....HOW THE FUCK DID HE IT LEARN SO FAST?...
Like me, I just watched that kid Sungha Jung on the net, and he did canon rock so easy.Okay this one is quite invalid, he plays acoustic early on when he was a kid and I played the electric when I was in 2nd year high school.

Now, I don't know if this is jealousy or what.But I bet it is JEALOUSY.It's really annoying when you were learning shit longer than the guy and you can't still do it while the guy can do it flawlessly.Now the only thing I have is I'm good at drawing, but fuck that.I would like to be better at the guitar too! That kid can do arpeggios and shit now.Even I can't still do that.So screw it.It really gets to me, like I was practicing to play that particular song and I've been practicing that song in a very long time now, it has a simple arpeggio on the intro of it.Guess what?

I STILL CAN'T FUCKING DO IT.

I don't know why, but this must be something with my hands being a prick and never let me be like SLASH for a few BRIEF moments.I know it takes practice like always, but the road to that certain place is like freaking traveling the entire world.Seriously I've been practicing and I still can't do all of IT.It really gets to me when you realize that you've been wasting about 5 hours on a single part of that song (either that SOLO or that HARD INTRO) well, like what AC/DC said...It's a long way to the top if you wanna rock and roll.Now back to the problem.How does one muster up freaking patience for that or another video from that kid Sungha Jung and I'm gonna kill him.

I may not look like it but, whenever I watch these guitarist on youtube and Sungha Jung, I get really jealous of these guys.Sungha Jung said that he didn't have any tutors teaching him, I don't really know about these youtube guys if they had any tutors with them but whenever they start playing that guitar, holy fuck does my jaw drop.I guess the almighty Haruhi Suzumiya just likes kicking me in the groin.*Sigh*

Well, I might as well just keep on practicing because there is no other way.I just needed to blow off some steam.

Oh god, I wish that OVA is good, so good that it will change my opinion towards that sucky anime.

Anime News: Strike Witches The Movie

So, The movie of Strike Witches is just currently being released on japan...

I guess it's a matter of time before the DVD's are going to be released.
Also it's matter of time before the fans become enraged when the DVD's come in late, I'm sure it will come in LATE, 99% Sure..

Anyways I've been receiving e-mails asking for a review of Madoka Magica and also another review on the SW: The Movie.I guess I'll be doing both of those but SW: The Movie review can wait.

I guess I'll be listening to those thousand bleating lambs that are asking for Mahou Shoujo Madoka Magica to be reviewed.Just hope it's not a bad anime or I'm going to kick every fanboys's ass when they shout out the name HOMURA and MADOKA..With the exception of course of Mami.

A Few Words



This is definitely the anime for you if you clearly have NOTHING to do.I remember saying faffing about in the beginning...Okay, I know this anime isn't but it just gives off that feeling of boring-ness.At some point in this anime it throws off the fanservice or the GIRL ENCOUNTER with the main character.

It's just that the intervals between these interesting parts are just a MILE AWAY.It's like freaking walking a desert with only a game called "I'm BORING" in your hands and you have to walk a whole desert just to get rid of that game and get a much better one.I also remember that I praised the anime Setokai No Ichizon, Some will say that this anime and that anime is pretty much the same.I beg to differ, remember what I said about the intervals of the interesting parts?

Yes, the reason why Setokai No Ichizon got a praise from me is because of it being a compulsive kid who keeps on entertaining you.It has the same content that Hoshizora has but what's inside of the anime is MUCH MORE interesting than Hoshizora's.

You can throw in fanservice and all the girls you want.But seeing that the fans of anime already SAW big boobs and other things a LOT already, fanservice will be pointless and also the girls will be too.Nothing beats good ol comedy.

6.Fanservice 8/10 - Don't be fooled by the looks of the anime..Although I know you won't be fooled by that pic at the top already.Anyway this anime might just throw some fanservice out there so be READY.

7.Comedy In It 3/10 - There is comedy in it somewhere but its not really being thrown out there in the viewers face.I guess I can say that the comedy here is sucky...

Definitely a FAIL.It's really hard for these kinds of anime's to entertain, especially when the person your trying to entertain is a person who watched 36 anime's already.

Fanservice will never be enough to run a whole anime.Oh and by the way I didn't finish this anime.It's the anime's fault for not putting on an interesting set of characters instead of being another generic harem anime.
Yes, this anime is full of generic stuff.Like that line "YOU PERVERT" that has been used since the dawn of anime's.

Anyone who watched way too much anime's will get my point in this one.But I suggest this anime's for those who haven't watched that much anime's and just want to sit down and let the characters run around and watch them do stuff...Or have a little bit of laughs, but I'll highly doubt that you will have some heavy laughter in this anime.

BISHOUNEN CHARACTERS! (Rant #5)

Dear anime gods whatever creation you made over here is fucking disgusting.I know it will look good to some people but screw those "some" people because they are clearly not otaku enough to know where to DRAW the LINE.

Here's an example:

Some might get really annoyed and send me E-mails later but screw those guys.
Why do they try to MAKE THEM LOOK REALLY GOOD?! What's good is KYON'S face! Those characters up there isn't!

Seriously why do they try so hard to make them look good? As a result they look gay and the characters, what the hell.Why is it that they always HAVE the SAME set of CHARACTERS (I.E The silent one,The I LOOK SO GOOD AND AWESOME, etc etc)
And the FANS! What the hell?! Can't get to any arguments with them because they will disregard your point and never consider what you say.

Here are some things to remember if it's bishounen or not.
1) Eyes: Men and women's eyes should look different, stop freakin' confusing me
2) The Bikini Test: Imagine a bishonen character in a bikini, if it suddently looks like a hot chick, it has gone severely overboard.
3) Voice Actor: If the character is being voiced by an alto woman and the character is over 12 or 13, then its too much
4) Build: Men are built differently than women.  I'm not saying that all characters need to be covered in muscles, but please give them slightly more girth than an anorexic 14 year old girl.
5) Body Hair: Unless they're professional swimmers, most men don't shave anything above their forehead and below their neck.
6) Number of Roses: Real men don't pack flowers unless they can be used as some sort of weapon.


I know something like the bishounen genre will never die because of the amount of idiotic fans who will never know a good anime if it didn't bit them in the ass and HOW will manga makers KNOW?! If someone didn't point things out.Okay okay, I know not all bishounen anime's don't actually look like this but If it looks something like that picture above then I will print out the picture and RIP IT and TEAR IT to SHREDS and I will burn it in the DEPTHS OF FLAMING HELL.

ESPECIALLY YOU VAMPIRE KNIGHT...Gay men everywhere.

All annoying gay characters aside.My point is that when you try to make a character look good, please don't go overboard on the eyes and the whole freaking FACE because it will make him LOOK GAY.

Thoughts about the K-On S3 Manga

So, if you've been checking out the S3 manga of K-On!!! I might as well share my thoughts to you guys

Hmmm, if you're a frequent reader of this page, you already know that I'm an avid fan of the K-On series like a kid staring at a toy at the other side of the glass window.

So my thoughts are these:
1.How the hell are you going to balance that much characters?!
-I mean you got the original 5 characters from S1 and S2 but somehow along the road, kakifly decided to add more characters to the cast.And so we've got about 15 MAIN CHARACTERS...

I don't know if things will get somewhat clusterfucked later in the series but I think worrying about tons of main characters isn't really a big deal in an anime such as this since it's an SOL genre manga most likely you don't need to worry about PLOT.And if I remember correctly I think that Angel Beats had 19 (I added the band that Yui joined) main characters.(I guess not all of them were main characters...)

2.Will this get an anime version??....
-Somehow I get the feeling that the Anime version of season 3 will never have that big bang that K-On 1 and 2 had.I mean K-On was already done but I guess the 3rd season is clearly aimed for the fans of K-On who really want to tune in.



Somewhere my little reviewer voice is telling me to hate the 3rd season because it's completely irrelevant now but like what I said it's clearly aimed for the fans, where I'm one of those FANS.

3.New songs?...
-I definitely want harder one's next time and also when the manga is sometimes showing the characters playing it's really dull.I suppose this is one of the reasons to make an anime version of the 3rd seasons.I just want to see them play instruments again.

4.What's gonna be the REAL END and what's gonna be the ending for this season.
-Ooh, I remembered that I hated anime's that doesn't consider it's appropriate length and the only way to escape that rule if every episode you make is GOOD, entertaining to watch, makes you want to dig for more with that thought in mind I said to myself "SCREW IT, LETS JUST SEE WHAT THEY CAN DO WITH THIS 3RD SEASON"

Anyway, I'm gonna ask.After this season is this the end?...If yes then GOOD.If no then you better pray that the fourth season is DECENT ENOUGH.Also what's the ending for this 3rd season? another tearjerker?...
Unless they tried to build up that tearjerker up to that moment then it's acceptable but if they just decided to slap it in there without pacing to the actual tearjerker moment then you can jump a hundred thousand feet in the air and land ass first to a garden of roses WITH THORNS...

Anime piracy (Rant #4)

So before i type in my latest rant that you guys HATE...(I don't really know if you hate it or not...)
I just read some news from crunchyroll.Which is a grad student who got arrested for uploading "Boku Wa Tomodachi Ga Sakunai" manga without permission from the anime.

Here are some of the information:

Japanese police has been chasing after not only illegal anime uploaders but also manga uploaders persistently. On February 28, Cyber Crime Section of Community Administration Division of Hiroshima Prefectural Police arrested a 25-year-old grad student from Sanyoonoda-city, Yamaguchi, on suspicion of using Share file-sharing software to upload the fourth episode of the manga series Boku wa Tomodachi ga Sukunai+ to the Internet without the permission from the copyright holder, Shueisha, on November 3, 2011.

According to the police, the suspect admitted that he had downloaded the files he wanted using Share. The police has already seized his PC and hard discs from his house at the day of arrest. Boku wa Tomodachi ga Sukunai+ is a spin-off manga of Yomi Hirasaka's popular light novel series. It is written by Misaki Harukawa and illustrated by Shoichi Taguchi, and has been serialized in the
JUMP SQ.19 magazine.

And some of you will come in and say that I say this because I watch some anime's on the internet.Yes I do watch anime's on the net but its just that you should be thankful since at the very least you watch their creation whether it is good.I mean why would you worry about the money lost from those uploaders of such anime's, There are lots of Otaku's there including me who are willing to lose their money for ANIME's.

And by ANIME GODS, It's not about the entertainment of people huh?...It's about how many cash you can get from these Otaku's.Well sorry BTGS(BokuWa for short) I won't spend money on that half-assed anime of yours.

Why do they keep on hating on the piracy on the web?
It's unstoppable you idiots.The real crime being done is out there not IN THE WEB.Or are you just doing this as a freaking side job because you guys "THE POLICE" are freaking bored in the afternoon when you cant eat donuts.

My point is that;YOU *PAUSE* Mr/Mrs/Ms ANIME CREATOR SHOULD BE THANKFUL BECAUSE SOMEONE OUT THERE LIKES WHATEVER IT IS THAT YOU MADE AND IT IS BEING SHARED.DON'T BE SELFISH BECAUSE OBVIOUSLY MANY PEOPLE BOUGHT THE ANIME MERCHANDISE FROM THAT ANIME.
