I am not often tempted by soft vinyl figures, but then I laid eyes on this life-size Kyubey from Good Smile Company. Who doesn't want to be constantly stared down by the trolliest little animal mascot around?
Moeyo reviewed a sample edition yesterday. To summarize their key points:

*His life-size lack of emotion has a high impact up close!
*The color gradient on his ears is faithfully reproduced.
*The plumpness of both his front and back legs is nicely tangible.
*The tail is about as big as the rest of his whole body together, and has its own support.
This figure will be sold as part of WONDERFUL HOBBY LIFE FOR YOU!! 14 at the summer Wonder Festival 2011. 500 will be sold for 10000円 each on site (limit one per person), and then the online shop will be taking orders (limit two per person) starting July 24 at 5PM Japan time.
